Beginner Tote Bag

Do you have a sewing machine that has been collecting dust? Been looking for a simple yet inspiring project to create? Like to craft, learn, eat, and make new friends?!

THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU

3 Sessions: Wednesdays May 9th, 16th, & 23rd

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00 pm  

Fee: $30.00 (+ fabric and thread)

This 3 part beginner sewing lesson will instruct you on how to create your very own all purpose tote bag from pattern to product! You will also learn how to create a variety of accessories to make your bag unique. You must provide your own sewing machine for the lessons. Fee includes personal instruction, pattern, interfacing, and refreshments.

I am hosting this out of my Elgin, IL home so space is limited to only 6 people. Register now to secure your spot!

Buried Treasure!

I have had these three bags in my trunk for awhile, but I felt they were "lacking flair".... Feeling the need to create without spending money, I was digging through my scrap box (the box that I keep fabric and notion leftovers... I never throw anything away!) and decided to make some flair from some of the buried treasure in my box. Here's the result!

If you're like me, you always have your hands full! I am ALWAYS in need of a bag that is multi purpose:

• My bag of choice has to have pockets to hold and easily access my necessities (wallet, phone, keys)
• My perfect bag has to have additional storage for my miscellaneous items (diapers/wipes, coupon book, extra set of children's clothes, water bottle, snacks) 
• My chic bag also has to be a fun and trendy fabric that is unique and gets compliments from all who see it (ok, so I may be a little vain!?) 
• I also need a variety of bags.... one to use as my purse, a diaper bag, a library bag, a bible study bag, a shopping bag, a weekend bag, and a beach bag.... Let's just say, I carry alot of baggage!
